2 ripe bananas, sliced
2 eggs
1 cup of milk
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons of butter

1/4 cup of dark rum (optional, but highly recommended)
Chopped walnuts or pecans for garnish (optional)
Start by whisking the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon together in a bowl.
